To mark an event as complete, select the "Complete" option at the top of the event page. 


If you are unable to mark an event as completed, please check the following:

 

Have all the required Workflow steps been completed?

When an event is reported, a number of different required steps will be triggered. These will appear under the Workflow tab below the event details.


An event cannot be closed until all the workflow steps have been completed.

 


Are there any additional Forms still outstanding?

In addition to the initial form completed when the event was first reported, another form may have been added to the event in order to link two (or more) different types of events together in the same event record. These forms are found under the Forms tab below the event details.



An event cannot be closed until all forms have been completed.

 


Are there any outstanding Event Tasks?

Within an event you are able to create Event Tasks. These are managed from within the Event Tasks tab below the event details.


An event cannot be closed until all Event Tasks have been completed.

 


You may not have permission to close an event.

All functionality in Radar Healthcare is managed by different permissions. If all of the above have been completed and you still do not have an option to close the event, you may not have the correct system permissions assigned to you to enable you to do this. If this is the case, please contact your organisation’s System Administrator, who will be able to advise accordingly.
