This article provides information on creating training requirements within Radar Healthcare using the pre-configured workflows.
TABLE OF CONTENTS
Training Workflow
The table below outlines the workflow used for all training requirements that you create:
Forms | Responsible User - Timescale |
Step 1. Training | Assigned to User themselves - Due by end of Requirement Completion Period |
Step 2. Approve Training (Only appears if your Requirement needs approval) | Assigned to User's Line Manager - Due by end of Requirement Completion Period |
The workflow can only be edited by Radar Healthcare and may include a charge to do this.
Training Forms
Before creating and assigning Training Requirements, you can edit the forms that are part of the workflow within the Form Editor.
When updating the Training and Approval forms make sure they remain generic enough that they can be used for all training requirements you create.
Make sure you do not remove the 'Completed date' from the Training form as this is often used to calculate when recurring training requirements are next due.
E.g. If 01/02/2021 is entered in the 'Completed date' and the Requirement had been setup to recur on an annual basis, the next due date of the Requirement for that individual would be 01/02/2022.
Steps to create a Training Requirement
1. Create the Permission Rule Set: Creating Permission Rule Sets
2. Create the Requirement Type:
- Fill out the 'Details' page
- On the 'Workflow' page select the training workflow you require:
- Workflow.DefaultTraining.WithApproval
- Workflow.DefaultTraining.WithoutApproval
- If the requirement is recurring we recommend the following settings, however you should decide if this suits your needs:
- How would you like the next due date to be calculated? = 'Calculated from date set in a form'
- In which form does the date field to be used appear? = 'Training'
- Select the date field to be used = 'Completed date'
