Introduction


All user accounts need activation to gain access to the platform.  This activation email is valid for 48 hours.  You can send an activation email from the Users area of the Administration panel.  You can send the email to individual users at any time, or send out bulk activation emails once every 24 hours.


Finding Non-Activated Users


  • Navigate to your Administration dashboard and select Users

  • Here, you will see the User List.  You will be able to see if a user is activated from this table via the User activated column.

  • You can also filter to only show users who have not yet activated via the filter icon  The filter icon.

Activate an Individual User


  • To activate a user, select the three-dot menu icon on the right-hand side of the user and select Activate.

  • Or, click on a User from this list to view their details.  From within the User details page, select the three-dot menu icon and select Activate Account.

Activate Users in Bulk


  • A filter must be in place before using the bulk activation function.


  • To activate a large number of users in one go search for the users you wish to activate using the filter option. This may be all users with an Activated status of "No", or you may wish to filter further, e.g. by Location.

  • Apply your filter and select the "Activate users" icon at the top of the Users list.

  • A message will appear to confirm you wish to continue.

  • Upon clicking "Yes" the emails will send and a confirmation message shown on the screen.

  • Please Note - You can only activate users in bulk once within a 24-hour period. 


  • Individual user activation will remain available.



FAQs


I select the bulk activation email and receive an error message.


  • Please check the content of the error message; it is likely to be one of three things:
    • You do not have a filter applied.  You must have at least 1 filter applied for the bulk activation to work.  We recommend the filter Activated status = No.
    • It has already been selected within the last 24 hours - if you or a colleague has already performed a bulk activation within the last 24 hours it will not send again. Please wait and try again.
    • Everyone selected is already activated.  If everyone selected has activated their account it will not send again.  We recommend the filter Activated status = No.
